Disques Sauvages is built from a cool grey-blue ground and filled with overlapping disc forms in dusty olive, muted plum, warm burgundy, soft gold, and faded teal; each one carrying fine radiating lines that spread from a central point like the cross-section of something found in nature rather than designed at a desk. White birds perch on botanical branches that thread through the composition, their pale forms luminous against the aged, textured ground. The overall palette has a quality that is almost vintage - not nostalgic, but settled, as though the design has always existed and is only now being seen for the first time.
