Daisies Against the Bloodline, White and Brick Red, Original Art Canvas Print

The Work

White daisies with orange centres sit at the front of this canvas, surrounded by a dense, almost violent field of brick red and burgundy blooms behind them, dissolving into pure abstraction at the edges. The white petals hold their crisp, clean shape while the field around them fractures into loose, energetic colour with no clear individual forms. Deep navy shows through only in small gaps at the top right.

The Inspiration

This piece pushed the contrast between figure and field further than the other daisy pieces in the range, letting the red background dissolve almost entirely into abstraction while keeping the daisies themselves fully resolved. The result feels less like flowers in a garden and more like calm surviving inside a storm of colour.

What It Carries

The dissolving field gives this piece genuine drama, something closer to intensity than decoration. The daisies' clarity against that chaos is what makes the piece feel resolved rather than simply busy.
