About This Design
Laelia is the soft voice in Monkey Orchard. Coral and blush red orbs hang on slender stems, broken by cream circles and cool notes of slate blue. The monkeys here are calmer than the rest of the family, climbing and resting through the branches rather than swinging hard. Dark navy leaves and fine red stems hold the composition together, giving all that softness a quiet structure. The impasto effect keeps every orb tactile, a worked surface that reads gently on a curtain or a cushion. Up close, the coral warms; from a distance, the pattern settles into a calm, even rhythm. Within the orchard, Laelia is the gentle one, named for a rose-toned orchid of Central and South America, made for rooms that want warmth without noise.

The Inspiration
Laelia takes its name from the Laelia orchid, a soft rose bloom that grows quietly across Central and South America. The design began with that same restraint, a wish for a piece in the collection that could breathe. Coral came first, warm but never loud, then the monkeys settled in, less mischief and more calm. It is the design for the quieter corner of a home, the one that asks a room to slow down rather than sit up.

What It Carries
There is a stillness to Laelia that a room holds onto. Coral warms a space the way morning light does, soft and forgiving, easy to live beside day after day.
