About This Design

Slender vines in deep emerald, violet, and charcoal cross and interlace across the surface, each strand overlapping the next in a rhythm closer to weaving than growth. Rendered in impasto strokes, every crossing point carries real texture, thread passing over thread, line disappearing beneath line and re-emerging further along. This is the most understated design in Deep into a Dark Bloom, its restraint deliberate, colour kept close and low so the interlacing structure itself becomes the point of interest rather than any single bloom. The Inspiration

Before pattern was printed, it was woven, thread crossing thread by hand, structure built one interlacing pass at a time. This design returns to that origin, its vine forms behaving less like botanical growth and more like a deliberate weave, each strand aware of the one it crosses. Art Nouveau's organic curve, usually so free-flowing, is given here the discipline of a loom, nature translated into structure without losing its essential movement.
