About This Design
Tight, repeating flame-lotus forms in deep rust, teal, and warm amber circle a small central diamond, each ring of colour holding the next like petals folding toward a centre point. Rendered in impasto strokes, the pattern reads with genuine radial symmetry, closer to a mandala than a flowing botanical line, though the organic curve of each petal still carries Art Nouveau's signature movement. Unlike the taller, rising forms elsewhere in the collection, this design turns inward rather than upward, concentrated rather than processional. Within Cathedral Glass, it is the closest thing to a literal rose window rendered in fabric, complete with the layered ring structure that gives real stained glass its depth.
The Inspiration
A cathedral's rose window does something no other feature achieves, it holds the eye in place rather than drawing it forward. Every ring of colour circles back to the same fixed centre, glass and stone arranged in perfect radial order. This design borrows that structure directly, its repeating petal forms building outward from a small central point the way traceried stone divides a rose window into segments. It is Art Nouveau's organic curve given the discipline of a mandala, growth arranged into stillness.
What It Carries
There is a particular calm in pattern that circles rather than climbs, that asks to be looked at rather than followed. This design carries that same centred quality into a room, ideal for a space meant to hold attention rather than move it along, a reading nook, a headboard, a single statement chair. It does not rush the eye anywhere. It simply holds it.
Design Size Options
This design is available in three layout scales:
Grand: A larger-scale composition that reads with authority across statement furniture and feature walls.
Classic: A balanced, repeated layout with natural structure and rhythm. Works across most applications.
Detailed: A fine-scale repeat where the impasto texture becomes the surface itself. Ideal for scatter cushions, smaller upholstery panels, and layered soft furnishings.
Style tip: Mark out a small section on your planned project surface to see how the Detailed scale reads in your space. That preview will show you exactly how the texture and rhythm land before you commit to a size.
Fabric Options
This design is available on a range of premium base fabrics, including upholstery weights, wide-format options, sheers, blockouts, and specialty vinyls. Select the base fabric that suits your project from the options available in your region. Each order is custom-printed to order.

Preview Disclaimer
Please note: Slight tonal variations may appear between previews and your final printed fabric. This is a result of base fabric texture, lighting conditions in styled photography, and natural variation between fabric substrates. Preview images are styled to show the design's potential across different applications.
