About This Design

Navy, gold, teal and red move together here in tight, ribboned bands that fan outward from a shared point, like a flame caught bending in wind. There's no stillness in this one, every band curves in the same direction, building a sense of motion that repeats steadily across the surface. The impasto effect gives each ribbon a raised, almost lacquered edge, so the gold catches light while the navy recedes into shadow beside it.

Up close, the layered bands reveal a rhythm that feels almost musical, each stripe following the one before it. The Inspiration

This one grew from the idea of a flame bending sideways in a sudden gust, caught at the exact moment before it straightens again. Deco designers were drawn to speed and motion, sunbursts, lightning bolts, streamlined forms that suggested momentum. The Zephyr Flame takes that same energy and lets navy, gold and teal carry it in a continuous, flickering sweep.
