About This Design

Dulce Forma arranges rounded squares across the surface in a loose grid, each block sitting beside the next with a white ground visible between them that gives the composition breathing room. Magenta, dusty teal, olive green, burnt orange, soft blush, warm cream, and deep navy move through the grid in a palette that is richer and more considered than the simpler designs in the collection. The impasto swirl inside each block gives every form a dimensional quality, and the soft blush and cream tones lower the overall temperature of the palette just enough to make the magenta and teal feel refined rather than loud. At fabric scale, Dulce Forma works on a wider range of interior palettes than almost any other design in the collection.

The Inspiration

The Fiesta de Colores collection draws its soul from the warmth and vibrance of traditional Mexican celebrations. Dulce Forma finds the more intimate register of that tradition: the hand-painted ceramic tiles and decorative objects where colour is applied with care and the composition is allowed to breathe.
