About This Design

Los Bloques takes the circle-and-square vocabulary of the collection and stretches it into something more architectural. Large rounded rectangles sit side by side in rows, each form rendered in a warm impasto style that gives the surface real physical presence. The palette runs through deep ochre, warm teal, magenta, burnt orange, and olive, all set against a textured white ground with gestural marks that keep the background from sitting flat. The forms are larger and more deliberate than in other designs in the collection, which makes Los Bloques particularly well suited to upholstery on larger pieces: a full sofa, a statement headboard, or a generous armchair where the scale of the pattern can fully express itself.
