About This Design
Los Tulipanes organises the surface into tall, upright tulip forms rendered in bold impasto-style strokes that rise from green stems with genuine vertical presence. Deep magenta, rich teal, warm amber, and burnt orange fill the tulip heads, each one built from thick parallel strokes that give the petals a ridged, dimensional surface texture. The green of the stems is not a single flat line but a layered stroke of olive, forest, and chartreuse that gives each stem the same visual weight as the flowers it supports. The composition is neither tight nor scattered. The tulips are spaced with enough breathing room that each form reads individually, and the white ground between them keeps the surface from closing in. At fabric scale, the vertical emphasis of Los Tulipanes makes it particularly well-suited to curtains and drapes, where the upright forms align with the natural hang of the fabric and create a rhythm that moves with the room.
The Inspiration
The Fiesta de Colores collection draws from the warmth and vibrance of traditional Mexican celebration. Los Tulipanes carries a different energy to the poppies and daisies in the sub-collection. Where those designs scatter freely, this one stands. The vertical discipline of the tulip form speaks to the architectural quality of Mexican formal gardens and the painted tile traditions where flowers are arranged with ceremony and intention.
What It Carries
Los Tulipanes is the most structured design in Flores de Fiesta, and that structure is precisely what makes it so versatile. The vertical composition works with the architecture of a room rather than against it. On curtains it reinforces the vertical line of the window. On upholstery it gives large surface areas a rhythm that holds without becoming rigid. In rooms that have strong lines and clean furniture, this is the fabric that adds warmth without softening the edges.
Design Size Options
This design is available in three layout scales:
Grand: A larger-scale composition that reads with authority across statement furniture and feature walls.
Classic: A balanced, repeated layout with natural structure and rhythm. Works across most applications.
Detailed: A fine-scale repeat where the impasto texture becomes the surface itself. Ideal for scatter cushions, smaller upholstery panels, and layered soft furnishings.
Style tip: Mark out a small section on your planned project surface to see how the Detailed scale reads in your space. That preview will show you exactly how the texture and rhythm land before you commit to a size.
