About This Design
Margaritas Libres fills the surface with open daisy forms built from loose, generously spaced petal strokes in a palette of deep teal, magenta, warm amber, burnt orange, olive green, and crimson. Each flower is assembled from overlapping impasto-style petals that do not close neatly around a centre, which gives the blooms an open, airy quality that distinguishes them from the fuller flower forms elsewhere in the sub-collection. The white ground is the most generous of any design in Flores de Fiesta, giving the scattered composition room to breathe and keeping the surface feeling light even when the palette is rich. Some petal forms overlap between blooms, and some sit in partial isolation at the edge of the composition, which creates a rhythm that feels genuinely unplanned. At fabric scale, this openness makes Margaritas Libres one of the most versatile designs in the sub-collection, as comfortable on a sheer curtain as it is on a scatter cushion or an occasional chair.
The Inspiration
The Fiesta de Colores collection draws from the warmth and vibrance of traditional Mexican celebration. Margaritas Libres carries the spirit of the wildflower, the daisy that grows without instruction at the edge of the fiesta, in the field beyond the market, wherever colour decides to appear without being asked. There is an ease to this design that the more structured florals in the collection do not share, and that ease is the point.
What It Carries
Not every room needs a statement. Some rooms need a surface that adds warmth and life without asking the room to organise itself around a single strong idea. Margaritas Libres is that fabric. It suits spaces that are already complete and need one piece that feels fresh rather than final. On sheers it diffuses colour through the room with every shift in the light. On a single armchair in an otherwise neutral space it introduces the entire palette of Flores de Fiesta without the weight of a full pattern repeat.
Design Size Options
This design is available in three layout scales:
Grand: A larger-scale composition that reads with authority across statement furniture and feature walls.
Classic: A balanced, repeated layout with natural structure and rhythm. Works across most applications.
Detailed: A fine-scale repeat where the impasto texture becomes the surface itself. Ideal for scatter cushions, smaller upholstery panels, and layered soft furnishings.
Style tip: Mark out a small section on your planned project surface to see how the Detailed scale reads in your space. That preview will show you exactly how the texture and rhythm land before you commit to a size.

Preview Disclaimer
Please note: Slight tonal variations may appear between previews and your final printed fabric. This is a result of base fabric texture, lighting conditions in styled photography, and natural variation between fabric substrates. Preview images are styled to show the design's potential across different applications.
