Plumas Abstract Foxglove Fabric | Warm Amber, Teal & Burnt Orange | Flores de Fiesta Collection

About This Design
Plumas fills the surface entirely with curved, overlapping impasto-style petal strokes that interlock across the composition without leaving any ground between them. Warm amber, burnt orange, dusty slate blue, deep teal, deep crimson, olive green, blush, and cream move through the layered forms in a sequence that shifts continuously as the eye travels across the surface. Each stroke curves at its tip in the same direction within its row, then reverses in the next, creating the stacked, overlapping rhythm of foxglove petals seen up close — tubular, layered, and dense with colour. The absence of any white ground makes Plumas the most immersive design in Flores de Fiesta. At fabric scale this density translates into a surface of extraordinary visual richness. On upholstery it creates the kind of depth that makes a piece of furniture look like it was always meant to be in the room. On curtains the interlocking petal strokes move with the fabric in a way that flat pattern cannot replicate.

The Inspiration
The Fiesta de Colores collection draws from the warmth and vibrance of traditional Mexican celebration. Plumas takes its visual cue from the foxglove in full bloom, where petals stack in tight, overlapping rows up the length of the stem. Here that stacking logic is abstracted into an all-over surface pattern, the individual petal forms retaining their curved, dimensional character while the overall composition becomes something richer and more complete than any single flower could be.

What It Carries
Plumas is the design that makes a room feel completely resolved. There is no ground to read through, no space between forms, no visual rest point that lets the eye disengage. The surface demands and rewards full attention. In a room with strong, simple furniture and a clear colour brief, it becomes the decision that everything else was building toward. It suits clients who are not looking for a fabric that blends in. They are looking for one that defines the room entirely on its own terms.

Design Size Options
This design is available in three layout scales:

Grand: A larger-scale composition that reads with authority across statement furniture and feature walls.

Classic: A balanced, repeated layout with natural structure and rhythm. Works across most applications.

Detailed: A fine-scale repeat where the impasto texture becomes the surface itself. Ideal for scatter cushions, smaller upholstery panels, and layered soft furnishings.

Style tip: Mark out a small section on your planned project surface to see how the Detailed scale reads in your space. That preview will show you exactly how the texture and rhythm land before you commit to a size.
