About This Design

Pétalos del Sol arranges elongated, leaf-shaped petal strokes in a radiating composition that fans outward from a central point in the lower half of the design. Deep teal, burnt orange, warm amber, chartreuse, magenta, and cream fill each stroke with impasto-style ridged texture that catches the eye at close range and reads as bold organic form from across the room. The petals vary in length and angle, which gives the composition a sense of motion rather than static symmetry. Surrounding the central cluster, individual petals scatter across the white ground at different orientations, extending the radiating energy outward without crowding the surface.
