About This Design
Deep red and rust pull upward in sharp, uneven peaks against a warm cream ground, flecked through with small rust-toned specks that read like dust caught mid-air. The colour doesn't sit flat. It shows a vertical drag, soft at the edges where one colour bleeds into the next, climbing in uneven bursts before losing momentum. Between each peak, pale cream breaks through in narrow channels, giving the eye somewhere to land between the climbs. Up close, the drag dominates, every edge slightly different from the one beside it. From a distance, the pattern settles into a steady, upright rhythm, deep red against warm neutral, repeating without ever feeling mechanical. Within Ridgeline, this is the warmest and most grounded design in the collection, holding its ground rather than retreating into the cooler tones the rest of the range favours.
The Inspiration
Bramble began with the idea of colour pulled upward against gravity, climbing in uneven bursts before fading back into the ground. The deep red and rust were chosen for how they hold warmth without needing brightness to do it, and the flecked texture across the surface adds the sense of something caught mid-motion, dust still settling. Tones streak and fade into one another along every ridge, so no single peak repeats the last exactly. It reads less like a fixed pattern and more like a frozen moment of colour still finding its shape.
What It Carries
This fabric carries warmth without tipping into anything loud. The rust and deep red hold their own against the cream ground, giving any project real presence without needing a large expanse to make its point. It suits something that wants to feel grounded rather than decorative, a smaller space that can carry weight on its own. The uneven drag in each peak means the pattern never quite repeats the same way twice, so it rewards a longer look rather than settling into the background.
Design Size Options
This design is available in two layout scales:
Classic: A balanced, repeated layout with natural structure and rhythm. Works across most applications.
Detailed: A fine-scale repeat where the colour bleed becomes the surface itself. Suits any project where the pattern is seen up close.
Style tip: Mark out a small section on your planned project surface to see how the Detailed scale reads in your space. That preview will show you exactly how the texture and rhythm land before you commit to a size.
