About This Design

Rust, mustard, and chocolate brown pull upward together in tight, flame-like peaks against a warm cream ground. The mustard sits closest to the base of each peak, rust threading through the middle, and chocolate brown darkening the tips, the whole climb reading as a single warm gradient rather than three separate colours. Colour pulled in long, feathered streaks gives every peak a licking, upward motion, as though still mid-climb. Small rust-toned specks scatter through the cream between each rise. Up close, the layered warmth dominates, every peak slightly different in how far its colours travel. From across a room, the pattern settles into the warmest, most intense rhythm in the collection. The Inspiration

Scorch began with the idea of colour caught mid-climb, mustard rising into rust rising into something close to char, each tone a stage in the same warm journey rather than a separate choice. The layered gradient reads as motion frozen at its most intense point, colour that pulled hard enough to leave visible stages behind it. Tones that streak and fade into one another throughout give the whole design a sense of still-rising heat.
