About This Design
Forest green climbs in tight, triangular peaks against a cream ground, each point narrower and more tapered than the broader waves found elsewhere in the collection, closer to a stand of trees than a wave or a flame. Small rust-toned specks scatter through the cream between each rise, grounding the cooler green with a touch of warmth. Colour pulled in long, feathered streaks carries the green upward, every peak slightly different in how far it tapers before meeting the cream. Up close, the narrow, repeating points dominate, giving the surface a dense, almost wooded rhythm. From across a room, the pattern settles into a calm, natural repeat, green against warm neutral, steady and grounded rather than dramatic. Within Ridgeline, Spruce is the collection's most nature-adjacent design, the one that reads as grown rather than drawn.
The Inspiration
Spruce began with the idea of colour tapering to a point the way a stand of trees narrows against open sky, forest green given a tighter, more triangular shape than the broader peaks found elsewhere in Ridgeline. The rust-toned specks read as fallen colour scattered across the ground beneath, small warm interruptions in an otherwise cool, repeating field. Tones that streak and fade into one another throughout keep every point feeling grown rather than mechanically repeated.
What It Carries
This fabric carries a calm, grounded quality that works well in a space wanting a connection to the outdoors without anything literal. The forest green holds its own without needing brightness, and the narrow, repeating peaks give it a steady, almost meditative rhythm. It suits any project that wants quiet confidence over obvious statement.
