About This Design

Charcoal and navy move together in dense, overlapping bands, the colour dragging and pooling in wide waves rather than sharp isolated peaks. Thin flecks of rust break through the darker passages, small points of warmth in an otherwise cool, moody field. Edges blur and soften so each tone melts into its neighbour, charcoal and navy trading dominance without a clear boundary between them. Up close, the surface reads as layered movement, several tones visible within what first looks like a single dark band. From across a room, the pattern settles into a steady, undulating rhythm, dark and quiet in a way few other designs in the collection match. The Inspiration

Current began with the idea of water moving beneath a dark surface, charcoal and navy layered the way light fails to fully penetrate deep water. The rust flecks were kept minimal, just enough warmth to suggest something is still visible beneath the depth rather than losing it entirely to black. A soft, dragged bleed where colour streaks and blurs at the edge carries the whole design, every band slightly different in how far it reaches.
