About This Design

Dusty rose and a warm coral pull upward in soft, woven peaks against a textured cream ground, with small rust-toned specks scattered through like dust settling after the colour moved. The rose carries a faint haze along the border of every shape, never quite holding a hard edge against the cream beneath it. Compared to the deeper tones elsewhere in Ridgeline, this is the gentlest warm design in the range, closer to a wash than a statement. The Inspiration

Haze began with the idea of colour caught at the exact point of fading; rose pulled back just enough to lose its edge without disappearing entirely. The rust-toned specks scattered through the ground read as the last trace of a deeper colour that has mostly moved on, leaving softness behind. Edges that blur and soften so each tone melts into its neighbour carry the whole design, nothing in it holding a hard line. It reads as warmth remembered rather than warmth declared.
